About
I am a Prairie girl and have called rural Manitoba my home for the vast majority of my life. People love how down to earth and comfortable they feel working with me and how I can connect with individuals across the lifespan and all walks of life. I want you to feel safe, cared about and able just to relax and be yourself fully here with me.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience and expertise. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Brandon University then went on to complete my Master’s and Doctoral degrees from University in Hawaii.
I have experience in providing a wide range of diagnostic, assessment and psychotherapeutic services across the lifespan. My clinical training and professional experiences include providing care for inpatient and outpatient hospital settings and community mental health centers, school settings (K-12), employee assistance programs and insurance providers, corporate consulting and forensic/correctional settings.
I use a number of empirically-supported approaches in my work such as Cognitive-Behavioral, Emotion-Focused, Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness, DBT-Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Gottman Relationship Therapy.
I am involved in ongoing professional training and consultation on a regular basis and am a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, Psychological Association of Manitoba and the Manitoba Psychological Society.
I’m here to help you see things more clearly and am committed to helping you develop the skills that will assist you on your personal path to a happier life. When you are ready to begin your journey towards your optimal self, I’ll be here.
I look forward to meeting you!
