Adults

Life is rarely without its challenges. Most of the time we can handle what comes our way using our own knowledge and resources. Sometimes though, we need guidance and support along the way.

With over 25 years of clinical expertise, I can help you bounce back from life's challenges, transition through difficult phases, reduce the symptoms that are interfering with the life you want to lead, maximize positive emotions and improve connections with others. I am excited to offer in-person sessions as well as online Distance Therapy to individuals in rural or Northern Manitoba who may be limited by distance, mobility, time restraints, weather or job demands.

Through the lens of compassion and a down to earth approach, I will work with you in a confidential, discreet, culturally sensitive and non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to talk about your concerns. Some of the issues or life challenges I can help you with include:

  • Treatment to deal with sadness and depression
  • Teaching you tools to manage anxiety, worry, fear or panic reactions
  • Assistance improving stress management and coping skills
  • Conquer the distressing trauma-related symptoms of PTSD
  • Prevent and manage symptoms of compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma
  • Help undo the cumulative effects of chronic trauma exposure (i.e. RCMP, Police, EMT's, 911 Dispatch officers, physicians, correctional officers, judges, CFS workers, Canadian Forces and veterans to name a few.)
  • Cope with rural and farm stress
  • Address complicated interpersonal situations
  • Boost self-esteem
  • Adjust to separation and divorce
